The Big Paint!
The Big Paint is a fun project using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint®. People in 28 countries throughout the world will be participating during the week of February 1-5. Join me, Kim, from the comfort and safety of your own home as this class will be done via Zoom!
New to Zoom or virtual meetings?? Me too! No worries though. I will provide instructions with your kit on how to join the class and you can contact me with any questions beforehand. The best part is Zoom is interactive meaning we will all be able to see and converse with each other. Wear your best jammies. 😂
In this workshop you will learn how to paint using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint®, how to mix paint to create new colors, how to stencil like a pro, and how to seal your creation with Annie’s Soft Wax. We’ll be creating a nice wooden tray, but you will also learn lots of other great uses for Annie Sloan Paint.
The workshop includes: 1 wooden tray; 1 small flat paint brush; 3 sample pots of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® (Aubusson, Scandinavian Pink, and Chicago Grey); 1 sample pot Clear Wax; 1 lint free wiper, and 1 stencil.
You provide: a computer, laptop, or tablet; a flat surface for painting (your kitchen table is fine); something to protect your table from splatters or drips if they were to happen (an old towel, dropcloth, etc); a jar of water to clean your brush; paper towels; and blow dryer.
Optional items you may like: stencil brush; wax brush; MixMat; and relaxing beverage. While not required, any of these items (except the relaxing beverage) can be purchased when you pick up your kit or our online shop if you don’t already own them.
We will be hosting the same event on two different days via Zoom to try to accommodate lots of schedules. If you can’t make this workshop, check out the next one on Saturday, February 6 at 10am.
I’m so excited to finally be teaching again! I hope you join me. We’ll have lots of fun and you’ll make a great gift for yourself or someone special! We will contact you when your kit is ready to pick up.
